I love getting deals like this one 3/31/2015
    Ronnie M. from Charlotte, NC

This is a very nice camera with many great features. It was a little hard to get set because of the limited directions in the package, but after contacting tech support, it was a snap to get up & running. I wished I could have bought serveal more, but they didn't get me the save deal over 1.

Great webcam for the money 3/30/2015

This is a basic VGA webcam, but for the money it works great. It also has features such as email notification if it detects motion. Can't beat it for the price.

    DLink Camera DSC-930L 3/30/2015
    Terry from Albertville, AL

The camera is rather amazing in that it contains it own computer driven system running Linux. This allows the camera to be easily placed in most home networks without difficulty. This camera is both Ethernet and Wi-fi connectable and the configuration requires the first steps of setup to be directly connected to the network with a wire. Afterwards it works great in wi-fi mode. The remote access via the mydlink.com site works flawlessly. Resolution is a bit low but good.

    D-Link DCS-930L 3/30/2015

A very good bargain daylight camera. Easy setup using Ethernet connection (have not tried wireless use). MyDlink app on Android and PC allows remote viewing of camera. Motion detection sends email alerts and if you set it properly through the Camera's web server, photos will be emailed to you when motion or sound is detected. There is a lag in capturing photo, so it may not show what triggered the motion detection.

    Great little IP Cam. 3/25/2015
    Robert B from Evansville IN

The D-link dcs 930L is a very good camera. I bought mine to keep an eye on the back yard. I use it with my local WIFI network. Set up is very easy. The D-Link D-ViewCam management software does very good also, it allows remote viewing from my cell phone or internet connected computer, motion detection and sends e-mail alerts.

    What price - Frustration 2/18/2015
    SickofJunk from Burbank, CA

$25 is a great price IF it could deliver ANYTHING! What a piece of CRAP!! Save your money for a competitive product, because any brand must work better than DLink. Really, this was a test of brand before I made my location bristle with their higher end system, but, instead, I just bought a $25 headache, and a permanent resentment of the DLink brand. Lesson learned. I will, however, go ahead and buy a better brand, and spend lots more for it.

Not Bad For The Price... 2/11/2015

It's definitely a good deal for the price of $25USD. It's not as clear or sharp as I thought it would be for an HD cam, it's probably the lower end of HD cams. Forget about night or in the dark viewing; it's terrible...! But it wasn't advertised as a night-vision cam so... For daytime use is good enough. I just wish the motion sensor would capture a pic and send it with the notification email, instead of just the email when the sensor is triggered. Oh well, it's a good buy .

    Cheap and works 2/11/2015
    Pat from Arlington, TX

This model is quite cheap when it is on sale. It works quite good for a daylight only camera. D-Link interface is a bit under desired. But, it is acceptable for the price I paid ($25).

    Worth the price 12/17/2014

    Good camera, poor software 10/15/2014
    Ryan from Omaha, NE

If you are going to use this camera with some 3rd party software, like BlueIris on a PC, or ipCamViewer on an Android phone, it's a great choice. But if you plan on logging into the camera using your web browser, be prepared for a poor experience. I never use it that way though, I use other software. The picture is actually very good. I've purchased additional ones because that work so great.

    Wireless Camera 10/9/2014
    David Roper from Blythewood SC

Well,, I bought it because I thought it would connect to my wireless home system. And maybe it would if i had owned the right router. Alas, i own an old Belkin g router and I haven't gotten this camera to connect as easy as i wished. It's probably my fault but it not plug and play for me. I will keep trying. It's probably MY FAULT.

Excellent camera & easy setup 10/8/2014
    John Wortley from Downingtown, PA

I purchased this camera because I couldn't pass up the fantastic price. Right out of the box it worked perfectly once it was setup with my WiFi router. The auto setup was amazing! Really could it be much simpler? And I guess it could have been if I had the D-Link Cloud Router! Besides being able to view the camera from my PC, I also setup the iPhone "mydlink lite" free App and I able to view the camera via local WiFi or from my 4G/LTE connection. Was amazed at the realtime viewing & listening.

Works as described. Easy Setup! 10/6/2014

Don't have a WPS-capable router so had to install and setup using Mac OSX software. Worked perfectly. Once connected to my WiFi network was able to place anywhere in the house. Then used Synology's Surveillance Station to setup motion detection monitoring and recording. Simple integration. Only "issue" is that to view the camera or livestream over mydlink, you have to have a specific version of Java installed. For whatever reason, this is not the version of Java I have installed by default on my Mac OSX so I was unable to view live streaming from the dlink website or mydlink. However, the Synology app (DS Cam) allows me to view the live stream.

    Cheap Basic Camera 10/1/2014
    Rob V from Lancaster, CA

I got this camera for $21 including shipping and Tax. I wouldn't pay much more for it. It is a very basic camera and easy to set up. The resolution quality is pretty low. I am using it in my garage to monitor when the garage door is open while we are away. The quality compares to those horrible gas station video clips you see on the news that you can never tell who the criminal is. hah. But for the price, good deal! If you just need a basic monitoring camera, this is it.

  •

Good basic wireless network camera 9/24/2014

Definitely worth the sale price I got it for. However, due to the low resolution (640x480), video quality isn't great when you login remotely from your iPhone app. Also, the app can't save your username and pw, so you have to enter them every few hours after the program logs out. Finally, if D-Link ever goes out of business or shuts down the website, then you will no longer be able to login remotely to the camera.

Good entry-level consumer security camera 8/25/2014
    Keith from Chattanooga, TN

Super-easy setup if you're willing to accept default settings. A little more complicated if you wish to adjust some things and maximize to 640x480 res. I use the "mydlink Lite" app on my iOS devices to view the cameras, and while the video looks fine, I have not yet been able to get a successful audio stream...just loud static. Overall, at the $20/ea that I paid for my 4 cameras, I feel I got a good value.

Great camera for the money 3/28/2014
    Ashley from Portland, OR

I purchased this camera, and I am extremely impressed. The camera has decent quality, and the My D-Link software is very robust and offers tons of options for surveillance. Setting the camera up on my network was a breeze. The motion detection works great and it's fairly simple to set up auto-notification of events. The power cord could be longer, but overall a fantastic deal. I plan on purchasing more to set up around the house.

Great little device to keep an eye on things 3/28/2014
Raphael from Upper Saddle River, NJ

I knew this was the simple solution to adding some security to a home or workplace without requiring a computer or wasting its processing power. With built-in email and FTP uploading features, this self-contained device does it all. I only wished that it also utilized Flash or not even require a browser plug-in instead of Java or ActiveX in order to view streaming video from their web portal page.

Great Product and Perfect for Starter to Mid Level 3/27/2014

My first Network Camera and liking the D-Link DCS-930L so far. Followed the instructions in quick start guide and had it up and running less than 10 minutes. Quality is really good for the price of network camera. There is some static in audio but can still hear sounds/words etc fine... I had to change the resolution to 640 X 480 and picture quality improved v/s the default and pleased with what I see on my iphone and computer...may buy few more of these and will have full house monitoring system in less than $100 and within my budget and no monthly fees
